About Me

Long before I became a certified coach, I often recognized people’s strengths and talents, even when they hadn’t discovered them themselves. When I was in high school in Sacramento, CA, classmates often felt safe talking to me about intimate truths in their lives in the areas of family, relationships, work, health and traumas; and when it was welcomed, I gave feedback and support. Since then, I’ve grown my passion for helping people develop into their highest selves. I have been blessed to experience long careers in education (MA in Elementary and Special Education) and Vision Therapy (COVT), both providing deep joy and inspiration while serving others.

I became a parent after I had taught for several years and helped parents of my students deal with parenting challenges. I learned that parenting is not as easy as teaching a class full of other people’s children! I sought mentors and support to do my best, and through my experience I gained confidence. I now share some valuable tools for those who struggle with their children. My two boys are now men, launched and leading their uniquely successful lives.

I have had a wonderful online life coach myself, and I love the support and the joy of completion on my choices which come from my heart. My coach guided me to my heartful choice of becoming a life coach too. There is always more growth to be had, so when I attain a personal goal or complete a choice, I make a new choice to bring into my reality.

We are living in a time of fast-paced change and are often hard-pressed to keep our personal life on track. Stresses, transitions, losses, hopelessness and fears create challenges that are difficult to navigate without support and connection. Work management and relationships may suffer. Joy goes out the window. And parenting…well, what works one day, doesn’t the next. Sometimes problems are unclear or numerous, making it difficult to find a starting point on your own.

There is no challenge that is too big or unsolvable, and any stage of life is a good time to seek support.

My approach begins with where you are right now, and together as a team through trust and acceptance, we allow the process to unfold and make discoveries leading to lasting change along the way, establishing the structure and the habits that enrich your quality of life. Besides my passion for being in service to others, at the top of my list of loves is The Arts. I volunteer as a singer/performer in a local auditioned chorus and as an usher at a local theater. I have published a children’s online book (available at www.ourvisualbrain.com/bookstore) and am working on another for adults. I have painted oil paintings, done crafts of many kinds, and garden when the weather permits. I enjoy the peace and harmony of my home in Renton, WA and love to dance around my house with abandon!

In addition to Neuro Harmony Coaching, I love my work as Practice Facilitator and Lead Vision Therapist at Hope Clinic in Bellevue, WA and work with an outstanding staff there. (www.hopecliniconline.com)
